Hello! I'm Diana Gomez, I'm 18 years old. I just graduated from Fenway High School, Class of 2012!! That's me, standing next to Patty with the big striped bass I caught last year at the fishing tournament at Fan Pier.
This is my second year with Save The Harbor/Save The Bay. When I got the text from Michelle asking me if I was looking for a job because she was looking for another staffer, I was very happy because when I worked last year I learned a lot from everybody I worked with, and enjoyed going on site or just going to the islands with the kids.
So I said yes in a blink of an eye just because I wanted to work again this summer with Save The Harbor/Save The Bay.
Waking up every morning knowing that you have to work is a good feeling, well to me it is. Why? Because I work with great people!! Working with Save The Harbor/Save The Bay is something I'm very proud of just beacuse it gets me away from the city - even though I'm still in the city, it doesn't feel like I'm in the city. This job gives me a lot of motivation and I like that, I'm always moving around or I'm always doing something! There is always something to do on site or out in the islands with the kids. I'm glad I got chosen again this year to work with Save The Harbor/Save The Bay !!!
