So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish!

What an amazing summer it has been! I don't think there is a job around where you can meet so many wonderful faces each and every day, being able to teach them all about Boston Harbor and the beauty it holds. From the curious kids at Black's Creek to the hundreds of campers at Camp Harbor View, thousands of kids in and around Boston were able to have the privilege to learn about their very own harbor and its role in our daily life thanks to Save the Harbor!

Searching for marbles on the beach - the campers' favorite.

Not only did we educate hundreds of kids, inspiring them to care for the environment around them, but as counselors, we were able to learn with them. I never thought I'd learn how to fish, use a crab and lobster trap, or even filet a fish! It's been the best summer I've ever had, and it was such an experience working and learning with all of you. So long, and thanks for all the fish!!!
