Last week I had the amazing opportunity to go see Cirque de Soleil, Ovo, that took place on the Fort Point Channel by the ICA. I've always wanted to go to one of these shows but never had the opportunity and boy, have I missed out.
First a couple of us went out to a dinner and it was so nice to finally get to talk to some of the staff that I've had limited time to bond with. Each one of the staff is an individual and everyone is so nice and welcoming.
Then we went off to the tents. This one of my favorite shows I've ever seen. The live music was dynamic and intriguing. The tricks, especially the ants with the kiwis were incredible. Even though stuffed from dinner, Thi and I got candy and popcorn for the second act. My favorite part in the second act was the wall, with the trampolines. This was the grasshoppers flipping around and around faster then I've ever seen.
Another really fun night with the Save the Harbor/Save the Bay staff!!
