Back Again On The Harbor: Year 4 :)

Hello everyone!! My name is Fatima Fontes and this is my FOURTH year at Save the Harbor! I'm so happy to be back and ready to have a great summer! A little about myself, I am a senior at Boston University majoring in Psychology. I am studying abroad in London this fall semester and I am super excited! After college, I plan to have a gap year and relax a little before I go back to school to get a Ph.D in clinical or nueropsychology. I've lived in Boston my whole life and have been living in Charlestown since I was five! On my free time I love readng books and going to the gym to lift weights!

I am super excited for this summer! This year I am back at Piers Park Sailing Center! My first year working at STH back in 2019, Piers was my first site and I loved it! The age group there is 6-9 and the kids are always so excited to learn about what's in the Boston Harbor and how to fish! I'm happy to be back on the doc fishing and doing touch tanks with the little kids!

I know this summer is going to go by fast because time always flies when you're having fun, but I can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! I am so happy to have Aleena as my LHE this year! She is awesome! The rest of the group is very fun and I can't wait to grow great bonds with them! I know this is going to be a great month together! I am super happy to be back on the Harbor doing what I enjoy the most during the summer time! Talk to you soon, Fatima :)
