The Lobster Named "Tee" at the Sand Sculpting Festival

Hey there everyone! I just came back from the Sand Sculpting Festival at Revere Beach and although I am exhausted, I'm glad I had a great day. My day started off at 8:30 in the morning, since I had to go get a lobster for the touch tank. I thought I could just get a lobster that was around 4 pounds, but she was actually very close to 5 lbs! Arriving at the Learning Center tent, Mike, Anthony and I filled up the touch tank with cold ocean water which was kept cold with ice packs. Here is a picture of a little girl holding her first lobster with two hands since "Tee" was very heavy:

While I took a little break, I walked around and saw this amazing sculpture called "To Bee or not to Bee." This is actually the winner of the contest! The detail on this bee is breathtaking - the wisps of hair on his back, the vulnerability of its position, and just everything was simply extraordinary!

This weekend has been amazing and I am just still speechless of the artwork and attention paid to those sculptures! I can't wait for All Access this week (:
