Thursday was a great day with Save The Harbor, the weather returned to a more moderate temperature and I also got to experience working at Community Boating for the first time. The first part of the day was spent at Piers Park, where we followed our usual schedule: lawn games, followed by time spent on the dock. While we haven't been catching many fish at Piers Park, the kids are still excited to go fishing and are optimistic about the prospects. Although we do not catch many fish, we do catch a ton of crabs, and the kids are always eager to pull up the crab traps so that are able to hold and play with the crabs. We spent most of the time on the dock fishing, playing with crabs, and kayaking. Once our time on the dock was over, it was time to head over to community boating on the Charles River.

This was my first time at Community Boating and I was very excited to see what the rest of the day had in store. We started off by playing a Boston Harbor inspired game of jeopardy, which the kids were very good at. Then we went to the dock to do some fishing, while were unable to catch anything this was a good time to engage with the kids and learn more about them. These kids were hilarious, so it was a really fun and relaxing part of the day. I enjoyed being able to unwind and laugh at some jokes with the kids at Community Boating, and hopefully, I'll be back there soon.
Until next time,
Abel
