Here Goes!

Hey, Save the Harbor!

Let's talk about week 4! I was put on all access for the whole week. It had been long since I hadn't been on a site where the boat was included.  I also made new bonds and was able to get to know more of my coworkers better. It was fun experiencing something different, like going to spectacle for the first time. Spectacle is such a beautiful island, probably my favorite. The amount of crabs we caught was just absurd. When Kaya pulled up the crab trap, about 12 of them fell as she was walking, leaving a trail of crabs.
This tank was not enough for the amount of crabs we had!
I had been put on all access before but I never knew what it was like at sports. The highlight of my week there was when we played kickball with a camp of kids. It was really fun seeing the competition between the kids and it reminded me of when I was in elementary school. They were so energetic and happy, it instantly boosted my energy up.

Time went by quicker than usual. Seeing them sad when they had to leave made me feel bad, and I'm not the type to enjoy that sort of physical activity. I forgot about the sun being too hot and the grass making my legs itchy.

See you guys around! -Ashley
