On Tuesday morning the most powerful man in Boston paid Save the Harbor a visit to praise Patty and Bruce, and meet some of the staff. After a brief speech the Mayor asked a great question, How do we want to see the harbor being used in the future. Save the Harbor has already done so much, but still the harbor could be a better place. Save the Harbor has worked hard to get locals to use the harbor often, but I hope that one day not only do locals flock to the beach, but for tourist from all around the U.S. to visit not only to follow the freedom trail, but to visit the harbor. I want south beach, Venice beach, and Revere beach to be placed in the same group of highly regarded tourist attractions.
