Hey everyone, for those of you who don't know, I'm coming back to help out the Youth program for the second year in a row! My name is Conor Newman and I am psyched to start work. I am a rising Junior at Stonehill College and I live in Arlington. I love to fish and play Ultimate Frisbee and I hope that we will have a lot of fun out there.
We've spent the past week preparing to run the Save the Harbor/Save the Bay Youth program that serves over 5,000 kids. I have met many of my new co-workers and they seem stoked as me to get the ball rolling. It looks like for the first week, that I will be running the All Access Program with my good friends Dave Coffin, BJ, and Thi. This program involves taking children and young adults out into the Boston Harbor where they can explore Spectacle Island and George's Island, just two of the 34 Boston Harbor Islands. I can't wait!
See you out on the open waters,
Conor B. Newman
