Last Friday, we worked at M street beach for the Beach Bash and Splash. It was really fun and exciting. There were almost 600 kids on the beach doing all sorts of stuff, from playing volleyball to face painting. Pretty every one working there had a blast.
I spent most of my time playing volleyball with the kids and drawing the mural. At lunch they cooked over 1000 hot dogs and served the hot dogs to everyone.
After lunch David Coffin told every one to go in the water including staff, kids and everyone who was there. Every single Save the Harbor staff went in the water or were thrown in. Overall it was a fun and exciting day.
