During our final few days at Blacks creek we did something which we normally never do, we created a sand castle. Not just any sand castle either, this sand castle was specifically designed for the crabs which we would catch in the crab traps. We put areas of shade for the crabs to hide in knowing that's where they prefer to be. We also made lot of space due to the large amount of crabs we were able to find. Once finished the children were very happy and enjoyed watching the crabs interact in their new home. The next day when we arrived for a fun day at Blacks Creek the high tide had unfortunately destroyed our work of art but it was okay because we just went back to work and made an even better castle (however this one was destroyed to).
