Hey everyone! My name is Josette, I'm 17 years old, and this is my first summer working for STH/STB. Words cant even begin to describe how excited I am about working with this program. The general intent and goals of the program, inspire me to have the same goals. Working with children, and being a proper guidance to them is probably my biggest goal this summer. So far I have learned about fishing, the harbor's history, and the importance of being an ideal role model. The individuals I work with are enthusiastic, motivated as well as motivators, and come to work with a positive attitude. Aside from achieving my goal, I look forward to learning more about the program, the harbor, and making friends with extraordinary people here.
