What Shall We Play?!

Piers Park: Crab race!!!!!!

This is my third week with Save the Harbor and I have been moved to a new site at Piers Park. I got to see new faces and got a chance to have a different experience in working with the kids. Here, this week, I got to learn two new games: Dolphin, Dolphin, Whale, and Sardines. My favorite part of this site is playing with the kids because it brought back old childhood memories."Dolphin, Dolphin, Whale" is a remix of the game "Duck, Duck, Goose." Sardines is a remix version of "Hide And Go Seek". Watching the kids playing is also very entertaining especially when they get competitive and into the game. They come up with the craziest and funniest places to hide when we play "Sardines."

Caught my first lobster on the first day at Piers Park.

Overall, this week was amazing! Sadly, I'm not sure I will be here at this site next week, but I will sure miss the ones that I got to know. Each of their personalities helped me remember their names incredibly fast. I am glad I got a chance to meet these kids and it would sure be hard for me to forget about these kids. Especially the ones who come no matter how hard it rains or how ugly it looks outside. The weather never stopped us from having fun or kept us from doing something at Piers Park.
