Sand, Sea, and Sun Tans

Hello again fellow adventurers,

Its been over a week since my last post, because I am just returning from an amazing vacation from Bermuda! I departed Boston on Friday the 11th on the Norwegian Dawn, bound for the crystal clear waters and pink sands of the island of Bermuda. The three day trip there was spent gorging myself with free buffet food, hanging out on the pool deck, and dancing the night away in the lounge with my friends. Once we made land on the island, I felt as though I had stepped into another world of paradise.

Our days on the island were spent exploring the beautiful area of Horseshoe Bay. Aside from the pristine beach view you only see in movies, the hundreds of coves and outcroppings surrounding the beach provided me hours of exploration. Armed with a Go-Pro and snorkeling gear, I explored every nook and cranny I could find, seeing fish and organisms I had only seen before on TV or at the Aquarium. Sea Urchins packed into every crevice as tropical fish of all species fought the falling tides to stay within the bay. Sponges and corals of all colors clung to the rocky surroundings as water rushed by on all sides moving in sync like some sort of practiced routine. All of this was overwhelming for the marine enthusiast inside me, as I had never seen anything like this from the local beaches and rivers from home.

This was by far the best vacation I have ever been on. If you have a love for marine life like me and ever get the chance,  I highly suggest taking a trip to Bermuda, you will not regret it.

Until next time, keep on exploring!
