Sand Raking at Constitution Beach!

This Sunday I got to go the sand raking event at Constitution Beach which I never had been to before! It was surprising to see all the people that showed up on this very hot sunny morning ready to make their designs! We were given little papers with henna inspired flower designs to chose from, I drew one flower which didn't come out the best, but hey, I tried at least. Then I ended up making two more and I think I actually started getting the hang of it, the sand was perfect. I had a lot of fun looking at all the other designs all around the edge of the beach. I even ended making a Spongebob and Squidward! Who knew sand raking could be so fun? Before working at Save The Harbor, I never would imagine all the wonderful things that the Boston Harbor and it's beaches had to offer. I've learned about so many things and I've enjoyed it so much!
