Hello everyone! :)
My name is Thi Tran and I am an upcoming senior at Boston Latin School. I am really excited to be back on the Save the Harbor/Save the Bay team as a Lead Explorer and as the Artist in Residence! ge of lobsters to casting a fishing line. I wanted to return to STH/STB because I want to learn more about the marine environment and watch the kid’s reaction when they do something they haven’t done before, which could be as simple as being on a boat!It was great to be reunited with the returning staffers, Conor, Will (formerly BJ), Carolyn, Timmy, Aruna, LaToya, Michelle, and of course, Cassie! Today, at the Children’s Museum, it felt really good being the more experienced staff member, teaching the new staff members about the crabs that we caught with the delicious hot dog strapped to the crap trap, and answering any questions directed towards the harbor and marine life
.
As the unofficial start of this summer, training was so much fun meeting the many new staffers! I can’t wait to see everyone on Tuesday!
