Hey everyone! My name is Danny O'Hara and it's my first year at Save the Harbor/Save the Bay. I live in Quincy, Massachusetts and I'll be attending UMass Boston in September. I've always loved the ocean, and Save the Bay gives me the perfect opportunity to show others the wonders of Boston Harbor.
I had a wonderful time at Orientation, where I met my awesome coworkers and went to Georges Island. Our guide David Coffin was a really nice, funny guy, and he definitely helped make the trip memorable. It was my first time on the island, and I can't wait to go back! From the dark corridors of Fort Warren that are stalked by The Lady in Black, to the open (goose-poop free) field, the island was a blast to visit.

While Georges Island was great, my favorite part of orientation was the storytelling workshop conducted by Norah Dooley. She gave us help in becoming better storytellers, which is undoubtedly an important skill. As someone who loves stories and books, her workshop was a great experience.
I can't wait for us to begin! I look forward to exploring new horizons with you all!
