Row, Row, Row Your Boat!

Hello again,

Boat Full Of Smiles!
Piers Park continues to be amazing! On top of the fishing, kayaking, sailing and the lobster and crab traps, we also get to go on a row boat! Like most of the kids, I too have never been on one. When the sail boat was brought over to the dock, all the kids were yelling, "what is that?". Of course, since there was something new to ride, everyone wanted to get on first.  It was awesome to see the kids get excited to go on row boat.

Selfie Time!
Fishing Time On The Row Boat!
Yesterday I got to go with a few of the kids and I loved every moment. It was the first time I was ever on a row boat, just like the kids. One of the girls was actually really scared to go cause she was afraid the boat was going be rocking a lot. Once our captain got us out there, she looked at me with a big smile and said "this isn't too bad!" It brings me so much joy to know that these kids are so willing to try new things, even if it scares them at first. It shows us that the curiosity kids have and willing to learn can be much stronger than their fear.

I See You Looking At Me!
There is so much to do here at Piers Park, it can be hard to figure out what we want to do next and that's a problem I'm really enjoying!

Till the next adventure,
