The start of the summer

The first couple of days with Save the Harbor Save the Bay have not been what I expected completely. Not that I thought it would be easy, but I didn't think I would be going home exhausted everyday! I may complain just a little about my legs hurting but I go home knowing it was productive because I was standing up working with kids to make sure they were learning new things and enjoying themselves.

Being at the the children's museum allows me to meet so many different people with interesting stories and backgrounds. I never knew so many people from different countries traveled to Boston for their vacation. I never would have imagined it. In these three days I have tried so many new things like holding a jellyfish. It only took two of my peers to nag me until I got brave enough to try it, and once I did I became obsessed with them. I am still working on being comfortable with holding the crabs, but we're getting there!
