Hi Everyone! My name is Samantha Bowman but most people call me Sam. This will be my first year at Save the Harbor and I'm super excited! I first learned about the program from my softball coach at the O' Bryant, Bridget Ryan! Other than softball I love to play soccer and I am very excited to be entering my senior year as captain of the O'Bryant soccer team.
I grew up in a family that enjoys camping every summer and I've always loved being on the water whether it included canoeing, fishing, or swimming. I can not wait to spend this summer exploring new opportunities and meeting lots of new people.
The most exciting part about orientation was our trip to Georges Island. I had only been there once and didn't get the chance to explore the fort. Going through the dark tunnel and learning the stories about the fort was interesting and exciting. I can't wait to have more experiences like this one!
